Abstrakt:
Se sabe poco sobre las consecuencias a largo plazo del delirium tremens (DT). El objetivo de este estudio era comparar la mortalidad por todas las causas y por causas específicas y la morbilidad relacionada con el alcohol entre pacientes con: (i) DT, (ii) estado de abstinencia alcohólica y (iii) dependencia del alcohol.
