Abstract:
Este estudio investiga si las personas adultas con deudas no hipotecarias tienen un menor bienestar mental y, por separado, si es probable que reducir sus deudas ayude a mejorar el bienestar mental. Los resultados indican que las personas con deudas tienen un menor bienestar mental (más síntomas depresivos y peor calidad de vida) en todas las categorías, pero el dolor mental relacionado con las deudas es más fuerte para las personas que no tienen trabajo.
