El Comité de los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad (CDPD) ha abierto el plazo para la presentación de los trabajos teóricos y prácticos sobre la aplicación del artículo 9, sobre la accesibilidad, de la Convención de las Naciones Unidas sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad. Los trabajos deberán presentarse antes del 15 de marzo de 2012.<br /><br />/----/<br /><br /><span lang="en"><a title="web del comité (se abre en ventana nueva)" href="http://www.ohchr.org/EN/HRBodies/CRPD/Pages/CRPDIndex.aspx" target=&#039;_blank&#039;>The Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)</a> calls for submissions of the practical and theoretical papers on implementation of the Article 9 on accessibility of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The papers should be submitted no later than 15 March 2012.<br /> <br />The CRPD is calling upon persons with disabilities, their organizations and other civil society actors, expert associations, educational and scientific institutions, national human rights institutions, State Parties and regional organizations to submit papers on subjects related to the implementation of the Article 9 of the Convention.<br /> <br />Article 9 is about accessibility and refers to how people with disabilities have the right to access all aspects of society on an equal basis with others including the physical environment, transportation, information and communications, and other facilities and services provided to the public.<br /> <br />The papers should be submitted in word format to <a href="mailto:crpd@ohchr.org">crpd@ohchr.org</a>.
